Grand Prize!

ONE WINNER will receive

Poetry Teatime Companion

Brave Writer’s own collection of poetry is selected and arranged specifically for your family’s teatime needs. The Poetry Teatime Companion: A Brave Writer Sampler of British and American Poems presents 52 poems by 52 poets, enough to cover a full year of Poetry Teatimes. The book includes a wide range of poetry suitable for all ages and organized by season and theme. It also offers beautifully rendered full-color illustrations as well as brief poet biographies and discussion questions for each poem.

The Poetry Friday Anthology, by Sylvia Vardell and Janet Wong

The Poetry Friday Anthology is a collection of poems arranged by grade level from a wide range of poets, with an emphasis on contemporary American poetry. Each poem is followed by a guide for understanding, discussing, and enjoying the poem. The book provides families with a place to begin their journey toward appreciating poetry, even those who are brand new to reading poetry.

Summer Tea Cozy, The Runcible (the last one!)

Brave Writer’s limited edition tea cozies are not to be missed! The Runcible has a cozy pattern that will keep your tea warm and your family smiling for this week’s Poetry Teatime. Enjoy the whimsical pattern and the practical use of the tea cozy!

Gilgamesh Tea Blend

What is a Poetry Teatime without tea? The final item in the giveaway is our aromatic custom herbal tea, the Gilgamesh blend. Named for the oldest written poem in human history, “Gilgamesh” is a fruit and herbal blend with a warm spice flavor profile that is slightly sweet. It’s perfect for children just learning to enjoy a cup of tea with hints of the season: apple, cinnamon, and pomegranate. Each tin contains enough loose tea for about 15 cups.

So what are you waiting for? Brew some tea, pull out your favorite poetry books, and enter the contest!
