Take a long look at the picture above. As you do, imagine a story for this image. Who is the girl in the picture? Why is she wearing a crown? What is the plant in front of her, and how are they connected?
Come up with as many details as you can. Create names for the girl, the plant, the place, and anything else that catches your eye. Imagine where she was before this image, and what she’s going to do next.
Once you have all the details of the story in place, use those names, places, and questions to inspire your poem.
