We had several guests join us for tea this week, an aunt, a couple of our cousins, & my daughter's best friend. Not all of our teas are this elaborate. As a matter fact all of the treats were store-bought so that we had time to decorate the table.
We talked about the poems that we have read previously and recited the ones that we could remember.
Poetry tea time has taken root in our family over the past few years. It makes my heart smile to know that it is has branched out to our family and friends. Those little tea cups and sugary treats somehow transforms the normal day into something fun and special.
